Turned Out Nice Again…
My dust cloud image used on a recent release by Pablo Santos on Black Square recordings.
So time for a new project. I thought it would be fun to concentrate on a single subject and something out of the studio. At home we’re lucky enough to have some great light fall through our dinning room window onto our dinning table and so the idea of a ‘Chair Diary’ came to mind. Documenting our table in different light and progressing to having different objects on, telling the story of my families comings and goings.
Working from home.
My map image is all over the place, it’s licensed through Getty as are most of my images: https://tinyurl.com/yyalbq48

On set with James Purdey and Sons shooting their latest range of shooting attire. I stayed too late in the studio and ended up being stranded in London as the trains all ground to a halt because of the heavy snow fall. Luckily enough I stayed on the sofa of good friend and got home the following morning. (Just ignore what I said about the trains working properly in the snow in an early post).

After the success of my Stuffed image in a recent competition it has sold a few copies, so nice to know people like the image so much they are prepared to part with their hard earned £’s. Here’s one up on the wall in its new home, there are two left from the emotion if you fancy one or two?

A treat to myself, a signed 1st edition of Stephen Shores latest book, ‘Survivors in Ukraine’. Although not a direct influence on my work I admire and adore his sense of freedom and wonder in the most banal everyday items, this book is full of stunning portraits and still lives and has a very strong message to us all with in those images.
